Faith Hunter has designed a Customized Spiritually Fly Advanced Program (300 hour) to assist 200-hour registered teachers in shaping their personal practice, and uncovering the elements of enhancing their teaching. The program is guided and mentored personally by Faith, along with a team of talented instructors.
It is divided into weekend modules and specialized mentoring sessions that will cultivate a vibrant teaching approach inspired by the Spiritually Fly Philosophy. You have the option of participating in the full program, or selecting a path that works best for you (1 or multiple modules). Feb. 27-March 1, 2015 (Fri-Sun), Instructor: Faith Hunter
Master Sequencing Part 1: Chakra Sequencing & Finding Your Voice – Teachers will learn how to sequence a classes and workshops based on the chakras utilizing asana, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra & meditation. The intensive will also include a focus on language, tone and diction, communicating with students in class and online, developing dharma talks, and overall communication styles.
March 28-29, 2015 (Sat & Sun), Instructor: Ann Swanson
Assisting with Love Part 1: Therapeutic Approach
Yoga Teachers will learn to read unique individual alignment needs within global principles of kinesiology, applying this knowledge to students with injuries and common special conditions like chronic back pain, scoliosis, arthritis, or rotator cuff injury. We will also delve into the basics of yoga therapy, private instruction, and preparing students for true breakthroughs.
April 10-12, 2015 (Fri-Sun), Instructors: Faith Hunter & Guest
Threads of Mythology: Deities, Myths & Tales – Teachers will learn about a variety of deities and myths from an assortment of cultures. They will also learn how to utilize these tales, and their own personal experiences to cultivate stories to share during dharma talks or classes.
May 21-25, 2015 (Thurs –Monday) 5-day Intensive Instructor: Faith Hunter
Master Sequencing Part 2: Spiritually Fly Sequencing (Advanced Postures & Inversions) & Finding Your Voice – Teachers will the learn an assortment of sequences, advanced asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation and other techniques for creating a Spiritually Fly yoga class. The intensive will also include a focus on language, tone and diction, communicating with students in class and online, developing dharma talks, and overall communication styles.
June 13-14, 2015 (Sat & Sun) Instructor: Hari-kirtana das & Christy Freer
Bhakti Path: Chanting and Devotion – This session will include a deep understanding of the meaning of bhakti, learn chants, and how to thread this teaching into classes and workshops. Teachers will also learn how to effectively thread the teaching of bhakti in their personal practice, teaching and overall lifestyle.
August 13-17 , 2015 (Thursday-Monday) 5-day Intensive, Instructor: Faith Hunter
Assisting with Love Part 2: Energy, Breath & Stillness – This module will primarily focus on the connecting with your students through personalized hands-on assists. You will also learn to how observe and watch bodies via the understanding of subtle energy, and learn to create your own adjustments by learning the principles of Thai massage, aromatherapy. Two of the days will also include pranayama and meditation techniques for advanced students.
6-months (this can start immediately) Instructor: Faith Hunter
Be Divine (Personalized Mentoring/Coaching for Yoga Teachers) – This is a specialized one-on-one module designed specifically for each teacher. These sessions will be held in-person or online (Sykpe or Google HangOuts). Based on the teacher’s needs, it may include one or a mix of the following yoga teaching related topics: master sequencing, alignment for each body, hands-on adjustments, mastering your observation skills, crafting workshops, finding your voice, effectively cueing, and developing dharma talks. Other topics may include: overcoming fear, opening your heart to healthy relationships, manifesting your dreams, leadership, etc.. The sessions are 2 hours a month, divided up into either (4) 30 minute sessions per month, (3) 40 minute sessions per month, or (2) 60 minute sessions.

Requirements for completion:
– You have the option of attending all 6 weekends, or 4-5 of the weekends. If you opt to attend 4-5 of the weekends, you will be required to participate in Be Divine Module (one-on-one sessions with Faith) for at least 6 months. Additional hours can also be satisfied by attending workshops or retreats taught by Faith, or you can attend approved advance training conducted by Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 registered teachers (discuss with Faith).
– Pre-training OmWork assignments.
– Complete all assignments during the group training sessions.
– Maintain daily sadhana (personal practice) for 40 days: meditation, chanting, or study of ancient text.
– Provide selfless service (seva). This can be discussed with Faith in detail.
