Follow the Energy: Practices for Energetic Self-Care with Lindsay Tauscher

If you’re a student of yoga, you’ve probably noticed that the effects of your practice extend much deeper than your physical body and even deeper than your mental state. You may have heard of the chakras, nadis, or prana, but you may not be sure what exactly they are or what they have to do with you. Come find out how yoga works with subtle body energies and how those energies influence your health and wellbeing. Drawing on her experience with yoga, Reiki, and Healing Touch, Lindsay Tauscher (RYT 200, HTP-A) will introduce basic concepts about energy healing and the chakras. We’ll begin with a gently energizing asana sequence to get our energy flowing. Then students will be guided through a series of practices to help them connect with their own energy, including sacred touch, pranayama (regulating energy with the breath), meditation, and visualization. We’ll have the chance to play with sensing and scanning energy, helping to make the intangible tangible. Students will leave class with a deeper connection to their own subtle energy, as well as knowledge of several yoga poses and other techniques that can be incorporated into an energetic self-care practice.  REGISTER TODAY!
